The ASKOSET+ consists of an optional (depending on the version ordered) energy meter (bidirectional meter up to 80A) and the ASKOMA energy manager with power supply unit. These are installed in the buffer tank at the house junction point (fuse box) when the ASKOHEAT+ is installed.
If you install the ASKOWALL+, the energy manager and the power supply unit are placed in the connection box mounted on it. However, the on-site or our optional bidirectional meter is still attached to the house node.
You connect the energy manager, the house router and the ASKOHEAT+ using a LAN cable provided by the customer. Connect the energy manager to the energy meter with an RS 485 cable. The wiring for power to heat is complete.
If an existing inverter does not have a digital interface, or if the protocol is not compatible with the energy manager, a second energy meter (up to 80A) can be integrated into the inverter. This allows PV power production to be measured and visualized. The electricity consumption in the house is calculated and also visualized. If the PV system has an output of over 80A, energy meters (80-200A) with hinged transformers are used.
Scope of delivery:
- Bidirectional energy meter
- Energy manager
- Power supply unit for energy manager 24V
- Installation instructions
A possible expansion tool would be a second smart meter for displaying PV production and energy consumption if the inverter cannot be read.
New from 01.04.2023: Incl. full software version and 1st annual app fee. From the 2nd year onwards, an annual service fee of EUR 50 must be paid via the app. The installer app will of course remain free of charge for the installer.
