Basic module for the BYD HVS / HVM battery system.
Instructions for expanding an existing BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS / HVM with additional modules
For an extension, the storage system and the new module should be in a similar state of charge. When first installed, the storage system and inverter usually display a preset state of charge of 19%. This does not usually correspond to the actual state of charge and the storage system corrects the state of charge during the first full or discharge. The actual
state of charge of new modules is approx. 35%, the extension should therefore be carried out at this state of charge.
1. you receive a new module with a SOC of ~35% SOC (standard on delivery).
2. monitor the SOC of the tower and switch it off when close to 35% (tolerance 5%).
3. add a new module, enter the number of modules in the web interface and then restart.
4. the SOC values of the modules will then equalize over the next few days.
