Self-consumption optimization through intelligent, stepless control of heat sources.
The Fronius Ohmpilot is a consumption controller* that uses excess PV electricity to heat water. Thanks to the stepless regulation from 0 to 9 kW, the excess PV electricity can be used efficiently and passed on to the consumers in the household. The Fronius Ohmpilot is primarily used to intelligently control heating elements for hot water preparation in boilers and buffer storage tanks. Other areas of application include an infrared heater or a towel dryer. In a detached house with average hot water consumption, the majority of household requirements can be covered by solar power from April to October. The result: maximum self-consumption, reduction of the household's CO2 emissions and protection of the heating system in the summer months.
If no Fronius inverter is available, the Fronius Data Manager 2.0 is required.
